What Our Clients Say about Us...
Dear John,
I would like to thank you for the great work that you did at Celadon. The Nu-Wool blown cellulose insulation was an excellent choice to thermally insulate the buildings as well as providing acoustical separation between the tenants. After running the energy calculations of the building through the ResCheck program, we were up to 25% better than the energy requirements as required by code. The blown cellulose insulation also filled all the small crevices and cavities in the walls for a much tighter envelope than regular Batt blankets. The blown cellulose insulation was also integral to the team's sustainable design goals. This product is truly recycled and is completely non-toxic to the installers, occupants and to the environment. We at Liquid Design truly believe that using this product has kept us true to our design goals and separates us from those who simply 'green-wash' their projects.
Thanks again for your service and your knowledge in helping us and the contractor deliver a superior product.

AppleBlossom did a great job and I would highly recommend this company. The owner, John Meeks, was professional and prompt. He called us to make sure we were happy with the job his crew did, and he even asked his crew to come back and adjust the attic dam to make it easier for us to access the attic. The final cost was lower than the estimate, and I feel like I got more than my money's worth.

I would highly rate John and AppleBlossom Insulators. John is the owner and the person that I dealt with from the first call to the completed project. Our job and attic was a very difficult job due to the tight quarters and age of the house, the heat, and the animal droppings. John was great. He returned my calls very promptly, and he was timely with meeting for a quote. Our job had some minor setbacks and complications; however, John was very timely in correcting those and was genuine in his concern for our satisfaction. He is a great example to the commitment to excellence of a small business owner. I am delighted with the finished product and the man that stands for the company.

Cellulose & CMS Cellulose Batts
Cellulose
One key to our affordable, environmentally sound, energy-saving solutions is our use of cellulose insulation materials. Cellulose is made from 85% recycled newspaper and does not conduct heat like fiberglass. It was created as an acoustical product and provides exceptional sound insulation and buffering, and it is treated with natural borates which prevents the paper from burning. When we install our products in your home, we create such an effective air barrier that it increases the amount of time you and your loved ones have to escape your home in the event of a fire, as fires require oxygen to burn. An additional benefit of cellulose is its insect-deterrent properties. For years, farmers have used the same borates we treat our cellulose with to control insects and vermin. They will not nest in AppleBlossom's treated cellulose.
Fiber glass is made from mined products which are heated in huge gas-fired furnaces, and then blown or spun into fibrous threads.
Fiberglass insulation is a conductor of heat and energy, and as such, can conduct heat - up to 125 degrees - inside your home, making it more difficult and expensive to cool in the spring and summer. It also requires up to 10 times more embodied energy to manufacture compared to cellulose insulation.
When selecting insulation for your home, you want the best performing product available, and the one that provides you with the best value for your money. With cellulose insulation you get both great value and great performance, including the highest R-value per inch, excellent fire retardant capabilities and exceptional sound control, not to mention the fact that cellulose is one of the greenest building products in the world today.
CMS Cellulose Batts
A Class A building material, CMS Cellulose Batts are made of recycled fibers that are non-irritating to the skin and provide superior noise absorption with a friction fit in your framing. CMS products are made from a combination of renewable and recycled fibers, the majority of which are post-consumer recycled newspapers, and are in most cases 100% recyclable making them the greenest products in today's marketplace. A stabilized cellulose, the cellulose batt is very comfortable to work with and can be cut to fit. Installation is safe and easy, protecting the health of both installers and building occupants. Cellulose batts can be used in sloped roofs, between rafters, joists and timber studs.
Reflectives
AppleBlossom Insulators can actually change the thermal barrier in a home by moving it from your ceiling to the roof with the use of reflectives. In many homes, the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) ducts are in the attic where temperatures can be 120° or higher. By changing the thermal barrier, the ducts will operate inside a controlled space thereby increasing performance while reducing energy consumption and prolonging the life of the system. And contrary previous reports, the use of reflectives does not affect your roofing materials' life span.
A reflective is a lightweight product, sometimes called bubble-foil, and consists of a layer of polyethylene bubble that is sandwiched between layers of foil. A radiant barrier reflects heat energy instead of trying to absorb it. This product can be used as a radiant barrier along pitch lines (reflecting up to 97% of all radiant energy) and as a vapor barrier in crawl spaces (it is 100% waterproof). It also can provide Class A/Class 1 Fire Rating and reduces ice dam potential.
Fiberglass
A more traditional insulation choice, fiberglass insulation is a cost-effective, energy-saving product that is made from sand and recycled glass. It has helped make the insulation industry more efficient by reducing energy loss and decreasing production costs. By avoiding the added energy needed to heat and cool buildings, fiberglass insulation continues to be a benefit to the environment by helping to reduce pollution emissions.
While the energy savings from fiber glass insulation are significant, so are the environmental benefits. By making buildings more energy efficient, fiberglass insulation helps reduce the amount of fossil fuel combustion needed to heat and cool homes, businesses, and factories. That, in turn, decreases the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere.
Hydroseeding Mulch
Create a green, landscaped appearance quickly with hydroseeding mulch. This product contains an organic wetting agent that enables the mulch to go into solution quickly, adding to the efficiency of the application. This is effective in enhancing seed germination and preventing soil erosion.
* R-Value is a measure of insulation's ability to resist heat traveling through it; the higher the R-Value, the better the thermal performance of the insulation.
